Loved the blend of modern comfort and rustic charm, especially the exposed wooden beams. Free WiFi was a nice touch too. Enjoyed the scenic walks and proximity to cozy pubs.

Oh, I just adored the cows and their pleasant aroma. And who needs shops and nightlife anyway?

The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the kitchen had all the necessary tools and utensils, and the dining area was perfect for enjoying meals. the central heating system kept us warm and cozy, and the log burner added to the ambiance. the location was great, just a short drive away from Kendal and in an excellent spot for exploring the beautiful South Lakes.

The cottage had a few areas with low ceilings, which was quite uncomfortable for someone tall like me. being on a working farm meant there were some farmyard smells that were hard to ignore.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The views from the property were fantastic and we enjoyed sitting out on the patio with a drink. The owner, Deb, was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area offered pleasant walks and within a short drive, we found spectacular walks in the Lakes. Although the cottage is on a working farm, the farmyard smells were not out of the ordinary. While there were no shops within walking distance and no local nightlife, the peaceful countryside location was exactly what we were looking for. The only drawback was the low ceiling in some areas, which was a bit challenging for my tall partner. I highly recommend this cottage for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The views from the property were absolutely stunning, and we loved sitting out on the patio enjoying a drink. The low ceilings in certain parts of the cottage could be a challenge for taller individuals.

Loved the modern comforts mixed with the old charm of the exposed wooden beams. Free WiFi throughout – perfect for my endless scrolling. Short stroll to pubs – I did my exercise for the day!

Couldn't find a spa on site. Seriously, do they expect me to unwind without a massage?

Our family had an amazing time at High Gregg Hall Farm Cottage in the beautiful Lyth Valley. The property with a garden provided us with a peaceful and charming atmosphere. We loved being on a working farm, with access to all the adorable farm animals. The location was perfect for exploring the Lake District, with the Trough of Bowland just a short distance away. The cottage itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our whole family.

For families with children, it would be great if there was a small playground or play area on the property.
